Procedure
Representing the next generation of cosmetic medical injectables, Uvence will offer a standardised, regulated process (pending on the company obtaining a HTA licence) for handling and processing autologous Adipose Tissue, that monitors and controls quality and allows the patient to determine their preferred doctor.
Adipose Tissue will be extracted from the patient via micro cannula liposuction at a Uvence approved clinic.
TRANSPORT TO PROCESSING AND STORAGE FACILITY
The extracted tissue will be transported in a temperature monitored Uvence transportation kit to the Uvence laboratory.
PROCESSING AND SAFE STORAGE
The tissue will then be cryogenically frozen and used on demand at the request of the patient. The tissue will only be available for release after the results of a bioburden (from the initial washing step) have been made available to the doctor.
On the day prior to the planned injection, the tissue will be thawed, processed and loaded into 1ml syringes and delivered to a Uvence approved clinic.
The patient’s prefilled syringes will be delivered to the physician and reinjected into their face, hands, décolletage or wherever desired. This procedure will be repeatable on more than one occasion based on the amount of tissue harvested in the initial procedure.
